Hello Everyone!

First and foremost, I’d like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Things have been quiet here at The SNE LLC Blog in 2014. It’s safe to say that life just happened…the good, the meh, and the bittersweet. As I embark on a mission to actually post more this year, I’ve decided to switch things up a bit. In addition to posting about music and events here on the blog, it’s time to incorporate another passion of mines… Marketing.

In addition to posting about music and events here on the blog, it’s time to incorporate another passion of mines… Marketing.

Yes, Marketing.

Forever a student of the concept, I noticed over the years when it comes down to it, either people get it… or they don’t. There are plenty who confuse it with Advertising, Promotions, Public Relations, or even Branding. Although all of these are connected in one way or another, they are not exactly the same.

Marketing involves the communication of the value of a service or a product.

According to Merriam-Webster, Marketing is defined as

“the activities that are involved in making people aware of a company’s products, making sure that the products are available to be bought, etc.”

I want to be able to pass along some of the top-level information that I’ve learned over the years to you, the reader. For those seeking more of an in-depth discussion, I am available for initial consultations on Marketing strategies.
